Bacon Brown Sugar Chicken Tenders

Ingredients:
– 1 lb chicken tenders (approximately 8-10 pieces)
– 8 slices of cooked and crumbled bacon
– 1/2 cup brown sugar
– 1 teaspoon paprika
– 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
– 1/2 teaspoon salt
– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
– Cooking spray or oil (for greasing)
– 1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional, for enhanced flavor)

Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking sheet with cooking spray or oil.
2. In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper to create the seasoning mix.
3. Pat the chicken tenders dry using paper towels. Evenly sprinkle the seasoning mixture over the tenders, pressing it in to ensure thorough coverage.
4. Distribute the crumbled bacon over the seasoned chicken, pressing gently to help it adhere.
5. Arrange the chicken tenders on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and the bacon is crispy.
6. If desired, drizzle lemon juice over the chicken tenders right after baking for a zesty touch.
