Hamburger Rice Casserole

Hamburger Rice Casserole:

Ingredients:

– 1 pound ground beef
– 2 cups (370 g) uncooked long-grain white rice
– 1 medium onion, diced
– 2 cups beef broth
– 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
– 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
– 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
– 1 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1 teaspoon paprika
– Salt and pepper to taste
– Optional: chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch casserole dish.

2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef along with the diced onion until the beef is fully cooked and the onion is soft. Drain any excess fat.

3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the uncooked rice, beef broth, cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Add the cooked beef and onion mixture and stir well.

4. Transfer the mixture into the prepared casserole dish, spreading it evenly.

5. Cover the dish securely with foil and bake for 45 minutes.

6. After 45 minutes, remove the foil, add the shredded cheddar cheese on top, and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

7. Allow the casserole to rest for 5 minutes before serving. If desired, garnish with parsley.
