Creamy potato
Creamy Garlic Sauce Baby Potatoes
Ingredients:
1 pound baby potatoes, halved
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Boil the Potatoes: Begin by bringing a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the halved baby potatoes and cook for 10-12 minutes or until they are tender. Drain the potatoes and set them aside.
Prepare the Garlic Sauce: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until it becomes fragrant, taking care to prevent burning.
Make it Creamy: Lower the heat slightly, then add the heavy cream, stirring continuously. Allow the mixture to simmer for a few minutes until it thickens.
Add Cheese: Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, mixing until it melts into a smooth, creamy sauce. Season with salt and pepper according to your taste.
Combine Potatoes and Sauce: Gently toss the cooked potatoes in the sauce until they are thoroughly coated.
Garnish and Serve: If desired, sprinkle with chopped parsley. Serve hot and savor the delightful garlic flavor.
