Air Fryer Sausage Rolls:

Ingredients:

1 sheet of thawed puff pastry

1/2 lb (225g) ground sausage (choose your preferred variety, such as breakfast or Italian)

1 beaten egg (for egg wash)

Optional: salt, pepper, garlic powder, or herbs to taste

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Sausage Filling: If desired, season the sausage with salt, pepper, and any additional spices.

2. Roll the Pastry: Unroll the puff pastry and divide it into two long rectangles.

3. Add the Sausage: Shape the sausage into thin logs and position one along the long edge of each rectangle.

4. Roll Up: Encase the sausage with the pastry, ensuring the seam is on the bottom. Use a small amount of water if necessary to secure the edge.

5. Cut and Brush: Cut each roll into smaller sections (approximately 2 inches) and apply the beaten egg on top for a golden appearance.

6. Air Fry: Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Arrange the rolls in the basket, seam-side down, ensuring there is space between them.

7. Cook: Air fry for 10-12 minutes, or until they are golden brown and fully cooked.
