Cheesy Ranch Sausage Potato Bake

Ingredients:

1 lb smoked sausage: Sliced into rounds
2 bell peppers: Sliced (choose your favorite colors)
1 large onion: Diced
1 bag (32 oz) frozen shredded hash browns
3/4 cup heavy cream
1 can (10.5 oz) cheddar cheese soup
1/2 cup sour cream
1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions:
Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Sauté Sausage: Brown the smoked sausage rounds in a large skillet over medium heat, then set aside.
Sauté Vegetables: In the same skillet, cook the bell peppers and onion until they begin to soften, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat.
Mix Components: In a large bowl, blend the hash browns, sausage, vegetables, heavy cream, cheese soup, sour cream, and ranch seasoning until thoroughly combined.
Assemble Dish: Transfer the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, leveling it evenly.
Add Cheese: Cover the mixture with an even layer of shredded cheddar.
Bake: Cook in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden.
Cool and Serve: Allow to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy your delicious, comforting meal!
