Creamy Garlic Mushroom

Creamy Garlic Mushrooms Ingredients:
2 tablespoons of butter 1 tablespoon of olive oil 8 ounces (around 2 ½ cups) of sliced mushrooms (either white or cremini) 4 cloves of minced garlic ½ teaspoon of salt (or to your preference) ¼ teaspoon of black pepper ½ cup of heavy cream ¼ cup of grated Parmesan cheese ½ teaspoon of dried thyme (or 1 teaspoon of fresh) 1 tablespoon of chopped parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
In a large skillet, heat the butter and olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the mushrooms and cook them until they turn golden brown and soft, which should take about 5-7 minutes. Then, mix in the garlic, salt, and pepper, and sauté for about a minute until it smells amazing. Next, pour in the heavy cream and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes while stirring occasionally. Add the Parmesan cheese and thyme, stirring until the sauce gets nice and thick. Take it off the heat and sprinkle with chopped parsley. Serving Suggestions: This dish is perfect over grilled chicken or steak. You can also mix it with pasta for a creamy mushroom sauce. It’s delicious with toasted bread as an appetizer.
