Crockpot Chili
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef (or ground turkey)
1 small onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 (15 oz) can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1 (15 oz) can black beans, drained and rinsed
1 (15 oz) can diced tomatoes (with juices)

Instructions:
1. Brown the meat – In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef (or turkey) along with the chopped onions and garlic until browned. Drain any excess fat.
2. Transfer to Crockpot – Move the cooked meat mixture to the slow cooker.
3. Add remaining ingredients – Incorporate the kidney beans, black beans, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, beef broth, and all the spices.
4. Cook low and slow – Cover and cook on LOW for 6-8 hours or HIGH for 3-4 hours to allow the flavors to meld.
5. Serve – Stir thoroughly before serving. Enjoy with toppings such as shredded cheese, sour cream, chopped green onions, or crackers!
