Banana bread

Chocolate Chip Banana Bread recipe that is rich, sweet, and brimming with chocolate flavor!
Ingredients:
– 3 ripe bananas, mashed
– ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
– ¾ cup brown sugar (or granulated sugar)
– 2 eggs
– 1 tsp vanilla extract
– 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
– 1 tsp baking soda
– ½ tsp salt
– ½ tsp cinnamon (optional)
– ¾ cup chocolate chips (plus extra for topping)
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare a 9×5-inch loaf pan by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas with the melted butter until the mixture is smooth.
3. Incorporate the sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract, stirring until everything is well blended.
4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and optional cinnamon.
5. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
6. Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
7. Transfer the batter to the prepared loaf pan and top with additional chocolate chips.
8. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean (a few melted chocolate streaks are acceptable).
9. Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before moving it to a wire rack to cool completely.
