Strawberry Cheesecake Dump Cake
Ingredients:
– 1 box yellow cake mix
– 1 (21 oz) can strawberry pie filling
– 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
– 1/2 cup sugar
– 1 tsp vanilla extract
– 1/2 cup butter, cut into thin slices
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×13-inch baking dish by greasing it.
2. Evenly distribute the strawberry pie filling across the base of the baking dish.
3. In a bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract, mixing until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Spoon dollops of this cream cheese mixture over the strawberry filling in the dish.
4. Evenly sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix over the layers of cream cheese and strawberries.
5. Place the sliced butter evenly on top of the cake mix.
6. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the filling is bubbling. Allow the cake to cool slightly before serving.
