Ingredients

500 g shredded cabbage

2 finely chopped onions

3 minced garlic cloves

3 eggs

4 tablespoons all-purpose flour (60 g)

Salt and black pepper, to taste

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)

2 tablespoons oil (for frying)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Cabbage

Boil a pot of water and add the shredded cabbage. Blanch for 2-3 minutes, then drain and remove excess moisture using a clean kitchen towel or your hands.

2. Combine the Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the drained cabbage, chopped onions, and minced garlic. Incorporate the eggs, flour, salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika (if desired). Mix well until the ingredients are fully combined.

3. Form the Fritters

Take small amounts of the mixture and form them into patties approximately 1/2 inch thick.

4. Cook the Fritters

Heat oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add the patties to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and crispy.

5. Serve

Enjoy these fritters warm as a side dish or a light main course. They pair excellently with sour cream, yogurt, or your preferred dipping sauce.
