Decadent Crab and Shrimp Spinach Cheese Dip

Ingredients:

– 1/2 lb shrimp, peeled, deveined, and chopped
– 1/2 lb crab meat
– 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
– 8 oz cream cheese, softened
– 1/2 cup sour cream
– 1/2 cup mayonnaise
– 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
– 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
– 3 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
– Salt and pepper, to taste
– 1 tbsp olive oil
– Serving options: potato chips, tortilla chips, crackers, or toasted bread

Instructions:

1. Prepare the shrimp:
– In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped shrimp and sauté for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink. Remove from heat and allow to cool.

2. Create the dip:
– In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, minced garlic, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper. Blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy.

3. Incorporate seafood and spinach:
– Gently fold in the cooked shrimp, crab meat, chopped spinach, shredded mozzarella, and grated parmesan until everything is evenly mixed.

4. Bake the dip:
– Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Pour the dip mixture into an oven-safe baking dish, spreading it out evenly. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.

5. Serve:
– Allow the dip to cool slightly before serving warm with tortilla chips, crackers, or toasted bread.
