Macaroni and Cheese in the Air Fryer

Ingredients:
– 1 ½ cups elbow macaroni
– 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese (plus extra for topping)
– 1 teaspoon dry mustard
– ½ teaspoon salt
– ½ teaspoon black pepper
– ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
– 1 cup milk (at room temperature)
– ½ cup heavy cream (at room temperature)

Instructions:
1. If your air fryer requires it, preheat to 350°F.
2. In a bowl, combine the macaroni, shredded cheese, dry mustard, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
3. Transfer the mixture to the air fryer pan and pour in the milk and heavy cream, ensuring the pasta is completely submerged.
4. Set the air fryer to cook for 20 minutes. At the halfway mark, take out the pan and stir the mixture.
5. When there’s 1 minute remaining, remove the pan and add more cheese on top if you wish.
6. Cook for an additional minute to allow the cheese to melt.
