Air fryer pork
Air Fryer Pork with Cheesy Potatoes:
Ingredients:
For the Pork Chops:
– 4 boneless pork chops (approximately 1 inch thick)
– 1 tablespoon olive oil
– 1 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
– 1 teaspoon onion powder
– ½ teaspoon black pepper
– ½ teaspoon salt
For the Cheesy Potatoes:
– 1 pound baby potatoes (cut in half)
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– 1 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
– ½ teaspoon salt
– 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
– ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
– 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Pork Chops:
Begin by drying the pork chops with paper towels. Rub them with olive oil.
In a small bowl, combine the garlic powder, smoked paprika, onion powder, black pepper, and salt. Use this mixture to evenly coat the pork chops.
2. Cook the Pork Chops:
Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 5 minutes.
Arrange the pork chops in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
Air fry for 10-12 minutes, turning them halfway through, until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C). Remove from the air fryer and allow to rest for 5 minutes.
3. Prepare the Cheesy Potatoes:
In a bowl, toss the halved potatoes with olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and salt.
Transfer the potatoes to the air fryer basket and cook at 400°F (200°C) for 15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through the cooking time.
After 15 minutes, add the shredded cheddar and Parmesan cheese on top of the potatoes. Cook for an additional 3-5 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
4. Serve:
Serve the pork chops alongside the cheesy potatoes. Optionally, garnish with fresh parsley.
Enjoy this quick, crispy, and cheesy meal!
