Smoked Sausage

Smoked Sausage with Potatoes and Green Beans:

Ingredients:

– 1 lb smoked sausage, cut into chunks
– 1 lb baby potatoes, halved or quartered
– 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed
– 2 tbsp olive oil
– 1 tsp garlic powder
– 1 tsp smoked paprika
– 1 tsp onion powder
– 1 tsp dried parsley
– Salt and pepper to taste
– Optional: Fresh chives for garnish

Instructions:

1. Preheat the Oven: Begin by setting your oven to 400°F (200°C).

2. Prepare the Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the potatoes with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, onion powder, salt, and pepper. In a separate bowl, mix the green beans with the remaining tablespoon of olive oil, salt, and pepper.

3. Assemble the Dish: Spread the seasoned potatoes across a large baking sheet or casserole dish. Evenly distribute the smoked sausage pieces over the potatoes, and arrange the green beans around them.

4. Bake: Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25-30 minutes. After this time, remove the foil, gently stir the mixture, and continue baking for an additional 10-15 minutes until the potatoes are tender and everything is lightly browned.

5. Garnish and Serve: If desired, sprinkle with fresh parsley or chives. Serve warm and savor this hearty, flavorful meal.
