Air Fryer Garlic Parmesan Fries:

Ingredients:

– 2 large russet potatoes, sliced into thin fries
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– 1 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1 teaspoon onion powder
– ½ teaspoon paprika
– ½ teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
– ¼ teaspoon black pepper
– ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
– 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Potatoes:

Begin by washing and peeling the potatoes if desired, then slice them into thin, uniform fries. Soak the fries in cold water for a minimum of 30 minutes to eliminate excess starch, which enhances crispiness. After soaking, drain and dry them thoroughly with a clean towel.

2. Season the Fries:

In a large mixing bowl, combine the fries with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Toss until the fries are evenly coated with the seasoning.

3. Air Fry the Fries:

Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 3-5 minutes. Arrange the fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 12-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through the cooking time. If necessary, cook in batches to prevent overcrowding.

4. Add Garlic Parmesan Flavor:

Once the fries are golden and crispy, transfer them to a bowl. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the fries and toss to ensure an even coating.

5. Garnish and Serve:

Optionally, add a sprinkle of fresh parsley on top and serve immediately with your preferred dipping sauce.
