Ingredients:
– 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain
– 2 tablespoons soy sauce
– 1 tablespoon cornstarch
– 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
– 2 bell peppers (any color), sliced
– 1 large onion, sliced
– 2 garlic cloves, minced
– 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
– 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
– 1 teaspoon sugar
– 1/2 cup beef broth
– 1 teaspoon sesame oil
– Optional: Crushed red pepper flakes or black pepper
Instructions:
1. Marinate the Steak
In a bowl, mix the sliced steak with soy sauce and cornstarch. Allow it to marinate for 15-20 minutes.
2. Prepare the Sauce
In a separate small bowl, combine oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, sugar, beef broth, and sesame oil. Set this mixture aside.
