Cheesy Parmesan Mozzarella Bites 🧀🍞

Ingredients:

– 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
– 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
– 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
– 1 egg, beaten
– 1/2 tsp garlic powder
– 1/2 tsp dried oregano
– Salt and pepper to taste
– 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
– 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)
– Marinara sauce (for dipping)

Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
2. In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded mozzarella, grated Parmesan, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper.
3. Form the cheese mixture into small balls, approximately bite-sized.
4. Roll each ball in flour, then dip it into the beaten egg, and finally coat it with breadcrumbs.
5. Arrange the coated cheese balls on the lined baking sheet.
6. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy.
7. Serve with marinara sauce for dipping, and optionally garnish with chopped fresh parsley.

Notes:

– For added crunch, consider using panko breadcrumbs instead of standard breadcrumbs.
– You may enhance the flavor by incorporating Italian seasoning into the breadcrumb mixture.
