—
Instructions:
For the Brownies:
1. Preheat the oven: Set the temperature to 350°F (175°C). Prepare a 9×13-inch baking pan by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
2. Combine wet ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, blend the melted butter with the sugar. Incorporate the eggs one at a time, mixing until the mixture is smooth. Add the chocolate syrup and vanilla extract.
3. Incorporate dry ingredients: Gradually mix in the flour and salt until just combined, taking care not to overmix.
4. Bake: Transfer the batter to the prepared pan and bake for 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Once baked, remove from the oven and let cool completely.
For the Frosting:
1. Melt the butter: In a saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Stir in the cocoa powder until the mixture is smooth, then remove from heat.
2. Prepare the frosting: Gradually mix in the milk and powdered sugar, whisking until the frosting is creamy. Adjust the milk to achieve the desired consistency.
3. Apply frosting: Once the brownies have cooled completely, spread the frosting evenly over the top.
Cut into squares and savor! These brownies are rich, moist, and utterly delightful.
