Country Ranch Green Beans and Potatoes with Bacon

Ingredients:
– 1 pound of fresh green beans, trimmed
– 1 ½ pounds of baby potatoes (either red or Yukon gold), halved or quartered
– 6 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
– 1 packet of ranch seasoning mix
– 3 tablespoons of melted butter
– 2 cloves of minced garlic
– Salt and pepper to taste
– Chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Potatoes:
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the potatoes and cook for 10-12 minutes, or until they are tender when pierced with a fork. Drain and set aside.

2. Prepare the Green Beans:
In the same pot, bring water to a boil and cook the green beans for 5-7 minutes, until they are tender-crisp. Drain and set aside.

3. Cook the Bacon:
While the vegetables are cooking, fry the bacon in a skillet until it becomes crispy. Remove the bacon and crumble it, reserving 1 tablespoon of the bacon grease in the skillet.

4. Prepare the Ranch Butter:
In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, ranch seasoning, and minced garlic, whisking until well mixed.

5. Combine All Ingredients:
In the skillet with the reserved bacon grease, add the cooked potatoes, green beans, and crumbled bacon. Drizzle the ranch butter mixture over the top and gently toss to ensure everything is well coated.

6. Serve:
Season with salt and pepper according to your taste. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
