Crescent Sausage and Cream Cheese Bites:

Ingredients

– 1 pound of ground sausage (choose between hot or mild)
– 1 (8 oz) package of softened cream cheese
– 2 cans (8 oz each) of refrigerated crescent rolls

Instructions

1. Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C). Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper or lightly greasing it.

2. Cook the Sausage: In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground sausage until it is fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.

3. Combine with Cream Cheese: In a mixing bowl, blend the cooked sausage with the softened cream cheese until the mixture is smooth.

4. Prepare the Crescent Rolls: Open the cans of crescent rolls and separate the dough into triangles. Lay each triangle flat on a clean surface.

5. Fill and Roll: Place approximately 1-2 tablespoons of the sausage and cream cheese mixture at the wide end of each triangle. Roll the crescent dough from the wide end to the narrow end, ensuring the filling is enclosed.

6. Bake: Arrange the filled crescent rolls on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring there is space between each. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until they are golden brown.

7. Serve: Allow the bites to cool slightly before serving them warm.
