Ingredients

1 lb beef ribeye steak, thinly sliced

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 small onion, diced

1 small green bell pepper, diced

8 slices provolone cheese, chopped

8-10 egg roll wrappers

Oil, for frying

Instructions

1. Prepare the Filling: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sliced ribeye steak until it is browned. Season with salt and pepper, then remove from the skillet and set aside.

2. In the same skillet, add the diced onion and green bell pepper. Sauté until they are softened, approximately 5 minutes. Return the cooked steak to the skillet and mix thoroughly.

3. Assemble the Egg Rolls: Place an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface. Add a small portion of the steak mixture along with some chopped provolone cheese in the center of the wrapper.

4. Fold the bottom corner over the filling, tuck in the sides, and roll tightly. Moisten the top corner with a bit of water to seal.

5. Fry the Egg Rolls: Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C). Carefully add the egg rolls to the oil and fry until they are golden brown, about 2-3 minutes on each side.

6. Remove and drain on a plate lined with paper towels.

Serving Suggestion

Accompany with a dipping sauce of your choice, such as spicy mayo or ranch dressing. Enjoy!
