Baked Cottage Cheese Eggs

This recipe yields a nutritious, cheesy, and airy egg dish, ideal for breakfast or brunch.

Ingredients

– 6 large eggs
– 2 cups cottage cheese (approximately 450 grams)
– 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, grated
– Salt and pepper, to taste
– Optional: chopped fresh herbs (such as chives, parsley, or dill), a splash of hot sauce, or paprika for added flavor

Instructions

1. Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish (approximately 8×8 inches) with nonstick spray or a small amount of butter to prevent sticking.

2. Prepare the Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, whisk the eggs until they are smooth. Incorporate the cottage cheese and grated cheddar cheese, mixing until fully combined. Season with salt and pepper, and add any optional herbs or spices as desired.
