Apple Cinnamon Lasagna Rolls, a sweet twist on traditional lasagna that makes for a comforting dessert. This recipe layers cooked lasagna noodles with a sweet apple-cinnamon filling, topped with cream cheese glaze and caramel sauce.

Ingredients:

For the Roll Filling:

6-8 lasagna noodles (cooked and drained)

3-4 large apples (peeled, cored, and diced)

1/4 cup sugar

2 tbsp brown sugar

1 tbsp cinnamon

1/2 tsp nutmeg

1 tbsp lemon juice

1 tbsp butter (for sautéing)

For the Cream Cheese Glaze:

4 oz cream cheese (softened)

1/4 cup powdered sugar

2-3 tbsp milk (adjust to desired consistency)

1 tsp vanilla extract

For Assembly:

1/4 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)

1/2 cup crushed graham crackers or nuts (optional for topping)

Instructions:

Step 1: Cook the Noodles

Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions. Drain and lay them flat on a sheet of parchment paper to cool.

Step 2: Prepare the Apple Filling

In a medium pan, melt the butter over medium heat.

Add the diced apples, sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice. Stir and cook for about 5-7 minutes, until the apples soften and the mixture becomes syrupy.

Remove from heat and allow the filling to cool slightly.

Step 3: Assemble the Lasagna Rolls

Lay out the cooked lasagna noodles on a clean surface.

Spread about 2-3 tablespoons of the apple filling along each noodle, making sure to evenly cover the surface.

Roll each noodle up carefully, starting from one end and rolling toward the other.

Step 4: Bake the Rolls

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

Place the lasagna rolls seam-side down in a greased baking dish.

Bake for 15-20 minutes until the rolls are heated through and slightly golden.

Step 5: Make the Cream Cheese Glaze

In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.

Gradually add powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract, mixing until the glaze reaches a smooth, pourable consistency.

Step 6: Drizzle and Serve

Once the lasagna rolls are baked, remove them from the oven and drizzle the cream cheese glaze generously over the top.

Add a drizzle of caramel sauce for extra sweetness.

Optionally, sprinkle crushed graham crackers or nuts over the top for a bit of crunch.

Step 7: Serve
