Eggnog Cake Recipe

Ingredients:

2 eggs

1 cup sugar

1/2 cup butter, melted

1 cup eggnog

2 tbsp rum flavor extract

1 tsp vanilla extract

2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour

2 tbsp baking powder

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp nutmeg

Instructions:

1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13-inch baking pan.

2. Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large bowl, beat the eggs and sugar together until well combined. Stir in the melted butter, eggnog, rum flavor extract, and vanilla extract.

3. Combine Dry Ingredients: In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and nutmeg.

4. Combine Mixtures: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Do not overmix.

5. Pour Batter: Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.

6. Bake: Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

7. Cool and Serve: Allow the cake to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
