One Pan Smothered Turkey Wings

Ingredients:
– 4 large turkey wings
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– 1 large onion, sliced
– 4 cloves garlic, minced
– 2 cups chicken broth
– 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
– 1 teaspoon dried thyme
– 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
– 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
– 1/2 cup heavy cream
– Salt to taste

Directions:
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the olive oil and turkey wings. Sear the wings on both sides until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side. Transfer the wings to a baking dish.
3. In the same skillet, add the onion and garlic. Sauté until the onions are translucent, about 2-3 minutes.
4. Sprinkle the flour over the onion mixture, stir to combine, and cook for another minute.
5. Gradually whisk in the chicken broth, ensuring there are no lumps. Add the smoked paprika, thyme, and black pepper. Bring to a simmer and cook until the sauce thickens, about 5 minutes.
6. Pour the sauce over the turkey wings in the baking dish. Cover with foil and bake for 1.5 to 2 hours, or until the turkey wings are tender.
7. Remove from the oven and stir in the heavy cream into the sauce. Adjust salt to taste.
