pepper steak dinner

Good ole pepper steak dinner 😍🥩🫑
Ingredients:

1 pound flank steak, thinly sliced 🥩
2 bell peppers, sliced (any color you prefer) 🫑
1 onion, sliced 🧅
3 cloves garlic, minced 🧄
1/4 cup soy sauce 🥄
2 tablespoons oyster sauce 🥄
1 tablespoon cornstarch 🌽
1 teaspoon brown sugar 🍚
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper 🌶️
2 tablespoons vegetable oil 🫒
Cooked rice, for serving 🍚
Instructions:

In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, brown sugar, and black pepper. Set aside.
Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
Add the sliced flank steak to the skillet and cook until browned, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, heat the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add the sliced bell peppers, onion, and minced garlic. Stir-fry until the vegetables are tender-crisp, about 4-5 minutes.
Return the cooked steak to the skillet with the vegetables.
Pour the sauce mixture over the steak and vegetables. Stir well to coat everything evenly.
Continue cooking for another 2-3 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened and the steak is heated through.
Serve the pepper steak hot over cooked rice.
