#### Ingredients:

– 3-5 cloves garlic, crushed
– 2-3 slices ginger root, thin and lengthwise

#### Instructions:
1. **Prepare the Marinade:** In a mixing bowl, combine the soy sauce, water, sugar, crushed garlic cloves, and slices of ginger root. Stir well until the sugar dissolves completely.

2. **Marinate the Chicken:** Place the boneless, skinless chicken thighs in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring all pieces are coated evenly. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to permeate the chicken. For more flavor, marinate for several hours or overnight in the refrigerator.
