Cheesy Spaghetti

**Spaghetti Sauce:**

*Ingredients:*
– 1/2 to 2 pounds Ground Beef
– 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
– 1/2 cup diced onion
– 1/2 cup diced green bell pepper
– 1 tablespoon tomato paste
– 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning
– 1 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1 teaspoon dried basil
– 1 large can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes
– 1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce

**Instructions:**

1. In a large skillet or pot over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter. Add the diced onion and green bell pepper, sautéing until they soften.

2. Incorporate the ground beef into the skillet, breaking it up as it cooks. Brown the meat thoroughly.

3. Stir in the tomato paste, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and basil, ensuring they coat the beef and vegetables evenly.

4. Pour in the crushed tomatoes and tomato sauce. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 20-30 minutes to meld the flavors. Adjust seasoning to taste.
