Steak and Shrimp Scampi:

Ingredients:
– 1/2 lb. linguine
– 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– 1 tablespoon minced garlic
– 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
– 1/2 lb. jumbo shrimp (or size of your choice), peeled and deveined
– Salt (about 1/8 teaspoon)
– Pepper (about 1/8 teaspoon)
– 1/3 cup white wine or chicken broth
– 3 tablespoons lemon juice
– 1/2 lb. steak (sirloin or your preferred cut), sliced into strips
– Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions:
1. Cook the linguine according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and butter over medium heat.
3. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sautéing for about a minute until fragrant.
4. Season the shrimp with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet. Cook until they turn pink and opaque, usually about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
