Lemon pepper wings

**Lemon Pepper Wings**

**Ingredients:**
– 1 pound chicken wings, thoroughly dried (US)
– 1 tablespoon lemon pepper seasoning (US)
– 1/2 teaspoon salt (US/Canada)
– 1/2 teaspoon pepper (US/Canada)
– 1 teaspoon garlic powder (US/Canada)
– 1 teaspoon onion powder (US/Canada)
– 1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil (US/Canada)
– 1 teaspoon baking powder (US/Canada)
– 8 tablespoons butter, melted (US/Canada)

**Instructions:**

1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) (US/Canada) or Gas Mark 7 (UK/Australia).

2. In a mixing bowl, combine the lemon pepper seasoning, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.

3. Place the thoroughly dried chicken wings on a baking sheet (US/Canada) or baking tray (UK/Australia).

4. Drizzle the extra virgin olive oil over the chicken wings and sprinkle the seasoning mixture evenly.

5. Toss the wings to coat them evenly with the seasoning and oil.

6. In a separate bowl, mix the baking powder (US/Canada) or bicarbonate of soda (UK/Australia) with a pinch of salt. Sprinkle this mixture over the wings. This helps to make them crispy.

7. Place the wings in the preheated oven and bake for about 30-35 minutes, or until they are crispy and cooked through.

8. While the wings are baking, melt the butter in a small saucepan.

9. Once the wings are done, remove them from the oven and drizzle the melted butter over them.

10. Toss the wings once more to ensure they are coated in the delicious lemon pepper butter sauce.

11. Serve your Lemon Pepper Wings hot and enjoy!
